Otters are one of the hardest mammals to photograph well in the UK. They surface briefly, move constantly, and often disappear before you have lifted the camera. This image came from a long, cold morning by an Oxfordshire river, watching and waiting. When this otter finally paused and lifted its head clear of the water I had one moment to work with. I am glad I was ready. Printed at museum quality on your choice of fine art, matte, or semi-glossy paper, the wet fur texture and the catchlight in the eye are the details that make this image work at scale. A distinctive piece of wildlife photographic wall art. Available in three finishes.
